Head Coach Taylor Schram

Taylor Schram was named the Stacy Branca '94 Family Head Coach of Women's Soccer in December of 2022. Schram will lead the program for the second season in 2024.

For the past year and a half, Schram served as the associate head coach and recruiting coordinator at Boston College. While with the Eagles, she assisted the head coach in all facets of the program, including developing training and game plans, enhancing the student-athlete experience and operations tasks such as budgeting and NCAA compliance affairs.

Schram spent two years as an assistant coach for the Big Green while also serving as the program's recruiting coordinator. Among her duties were analyzing team film and opponent film to plan for upcoming matches, as well as working with each student-athlete to create individualized development plans.

Schram was an assistant coach at Florida Gulf Coast University for one year where she helped lead the Eagles to a 13-4-2 record and a spot in the ASUN Conference semifinal. Schram is a U20 World Cup champion, three-time Big Ten champion, former Binghamton assistant coach and former graduate assistant at West Virginia.

Prior to FGCU, Schram spent the 2016 and 2017 seasons at Binghamton as the program's first assistant, turning the program around from a last-place finish in the America East in 2016 to conference champions in 2017 with an 11-4-4 record. That performance led to Staff of the Year honors for Schram and the Binghamton coaching staff.

A four-year starter at Penn State, Schram helped the Nittany Lions to three Big Ten titles and four NCAA Tournament appearances including a runner-up finish in 2012. During her time in State College, Schram was a two-time All-Big Ten selection, a member of the 2012 NCAA All-Tournament Team, a Third Team All-Region honoree as well as a First Team Academic All-American.

Her time at Penn State did not go unnoticed as Schram was called into the United States U20 National Team camp where she later earned a spot on the side that went to Tokyo for the U20 World Cup. There, the US finished second in the group to Germany, advancing to the knockout stage. The Americans then took down North Korea and Nigeria, setting up a rematch with the Germans in the final. The United States prevailed 1-0, the third U20 World Cup title for the US.

Upon graduation in 2014, Schram accepted a graduate assistant coaching position at West Virginia, helping the Mountaineers make the Elite Eight in 2015 and finish the season No. 2 in the country. West Virginia won the Big 12 in both of Schram's seasons as graduate assistant coach.

Schram holds USSF "B" and "C" licenses as well as an NSCAA Premier National Diploma and United Soccer Coaches Association Premier Diploma.
